Hi, I’m Chris — but most people call me Bear.
I’m the photographer and creative director at Art of You Boudoir. For me, this work is deeply personal.
Photography has always been my constant. My mom was a painter, my brother an artist, creativity runs in my blood. For me, it was always the camera. It became my way of connecting, of processing life, of showing people something beautiful about themselves that they didn’t always see.
That connection became even more meaningful after I was diagnosed with Celiac disease. It changed everything; my strength, my energy, even how I experienced food and community. It forced me to see my body differently, not just as something to shape or fix, but something to respect and nurture for what it’s endured.
That shift in perspective lives in every image I take.
This is why I do what I do.
This studio wouldn’t be what it is without my wife.
She brings a sense of presence, intention, and calm to every part of the experience. With a background in hospitality and client services management, she’s always been the one who makes people feel cared for. Whether it’s creating a warm atmosphere with fresh flowers, curating the luxury details of the studio, or simply offering a kind word at the perfect moment, she has a gift for making people feel safe and seen.
She’s also deeply connected to the world of holistic healing. With studies in functional medicine and trauma-informed care, she brings not just beauty to the space, but emotional awareness, empathy, and a deep respect for each client’s personal journey.
Together, we’ve created more than a studio. We’ve built a space for women to feel supported, whether they’re here to heal, to celebrate a new chapter, or to simply do something bold and freeing for themselves.

We’ve witnessed some of life’s hardest moments...and also some of its most beautiful. From celebrating a body that’s finally healthy after years of illness, to honoring the journey into motherhood, to capturing the joy of an upcoming wedding, these moments deserve to be documented with heart, care, and reverence.
Our clients aren’t just survivors. They’re strong, soft, radiant, and worthy of being seen in every season, and we’re here to make sure they are.
