Images are edited at the Photographer’s discretion, and photos shown at your reveal appointment may not include all images shot. The Photographer reserves the creative rights to edit and release only those images deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the photographer’s artistic standards.

Creative License

The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving them/us the exclusive right to reproduce their photographs. It is illegal to copy, edit, alter or reproduce these photographs without our permission, and violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. Violations include, but are not limited to, making illegal copies, scanning, printing from home, or downloading from our website. Please understand that the photographer wishes to maintain complete control over the print quality, finishes, and presentation of the images. Any reproduction outside the studio may lower the image's quality and scar our reputation for providing superior portraits.

The Copyright Act grants photographers exclusive rights to their work. Copying, editing, or reproducing images without permission is illegal and subject to civil and criminal penalties. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session will incur a cancellation fee equal to your session booking fee, charged to the card on file.

If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reduce your session time or reschedule, and the cancellation fee will still apply. In such cases, we’ll use the remaining time for your session, but some looks or locations may need to be adjusted.

Weather-related cancellations will be determined by Art of You Boudoir, and you’ll receive rescheduling options via email. In true emergencies, your cancellation fee can be credited toward a future session.

Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. No date is reserved until the retainer is received. In the event of a cancellation or breach of contract, the retainer will be retained as liquidated damages.

Due to this type of photo session's nature, we will not photograph any individual under the legal age of 18. No exceptions. We require you to bring a valid ID to your photo session as proof of age and reserve the right to refuse service if proof of age is not supplied.

While we strive to be inclusive, we do not currently offer sessions for men or couples. Our goal is to ensure that every woman who chooses our services feels confident, empowered, and cherished.

At Art of You Boudoir, your privacy is extremely important to us. Your photos will NEVER be shared without your explicit permission, confirmed through a completed Comfort Level Questionnaire and a signed Image Release form. We will honor whatever level of privacy you prefer and will not disclose our clients' names unless they specifically request to be tagged on social media.

We are also committed to protecting your privacy online. Therefore, the personal and payment information you provide us is used only by us and will not be shared with any other parties, excluding purchases you choose to make directly through affiliate links.
